I'm baa-ack.

With a somewhat short bolding survey. It's been a while, I'm sort of out of practice.

I love big airports.
I've never seen The Breakfast Club.
I work at a grocery store.
I'm a cashier, actually.
I organize my crayons by color.
I alphabetize my books/cds.
Sometimes I'll even go into my music library and correct the grammar in song titles, even if it was done on purpose.
I can't stand American Idol.
I think the political articles in Rolling Stone are a bit over the top.
^Okay, a lot over the top, at times.
^^Never read one.
I love learning the capitals of different countries.
In terms of cereal, Wheaties are boring.
I'd love to throw a murder mystery party.
Or a decade-themed party.
I watch So You Think You Can Dance.
^Billy Bell was my FAVORITE. I was devastated when I found out he wasn't going to be on because he got sick.
I adore Lily Allen.
'80s hair metal is my guilty pleasure.
I know several methods for getting rid of a hickey.
I won't be able to drive for almost another year.
^Stupid Jersey driving laws.
I used to use dreamcatchers.
^I totally believed they worked.
I prefer Hershey's with almonds to just plain Hershey's.
I carry spare headphones in my purse.
I think it would be awesome to play human pacman.
I have a somewhat uncommon piercing.
^It's a snug piercing.
I hate using push pins.
Bulletin boards in general annoy me.
I don't use one nice perfume, I get a bunch of different body sprays and wear what I feel like that day.
I only really use eye makeup, unless it's a special occasion.
^I don't use makeup period.
I have really nice skin.
I'm taking a forensic science class.
I had to go to the neurologist today.
My heels and back start to hurt after spending a while on my feet.
I strongly dislike Green Day.
I love writing on chalk boards.
^But I hate having chalk all over my hands afterward.
People who give dirty looks for no reason annoy me.

Woo.

Wow, I'm bored.

Shuffling.
Bold the lyrics you know.
[Jes @ shakenandfaintsurveys/mintandhazelnut]

1. Well I've heard there was a sacred chord that David played and it pleased the Lord.

2. Took me by surprise that I just didn't see. She had a dark past of broken hearts, and she wanted love.

3. It doesn't matter where I have gone. I just can't afford to pay for the mistakes that you have made.

4. Don't wash your hair, it's too early. Don't wash your mind if it's dirty. I wouldn't change a thing about you.

5. I'm thinking I'd prefer not to be rescued.

6. And then we both go down together, we may stay there forever, just trying to get up. And I'm sorry, this wasn't easy, when I asked you believed me.

7. Well I know you know everything. I know you didn't mean it, I know you didn't mean it.

8. Lie in this empty bed, with this aching head, you left me here this morning. Now, I can't remember why I let you in again to get under my skin.

9.She could be money, cars, fear of the dark. Your best friends are just strangers in bars.

10. Are you alright? I can stand up straight. Are you alright? Can you get me off your mind?

11. Lightning strikes me down, I'm on my knees. I can't write it out, but I'll show you what I mean. And the words they will drip down the side of your cheeks.

12.You are pretty down to your bones, you are ivory and wire and pearls. I would kiss and kiss and kiss your skin, beg for you to let me in, but oh, sometimes it hurts, you block my nerves.

13. She thinks I'm much too thin, she asks me if I'm sick, what's a girl to do with friends like this?

14.You were a child who was made of glass, you carried a black heart passed down from your dad, if somebody loved you, they'd tell you by now, we all turn away when you're down.

15. Always up or down, never down and out, dream of demons while you sleep, they'll make you stutter when you speak, speak now or forever hold your peace, in pieces.

16.Well an airplane's faster than a cadillac, and a whole lot smoother than a camel's back, but I don't care how you get to me, just get to me.

17. Laugh when they cry, jump when they're down, smile when they frown, we're all going down, we're all going down.

18. Come on try a little, nothing is forever, there's got to be something better than in the middle. Me and Cinderella, put it all together, we can drive it home with one headlight.

19.The first time's the worst time, then you become so uncomfortably numb that you can't hide the fake smile, stare into space with a look on your face.

20.I give you everything you ask for, don't be so unkind. Well every time you're mad about every little thing, it's too soon to pull out or pull out that wedding ring.

21. She's fresh to death, she'll be the death of you. Seduction leads to destruction.

22. If you could see me here this way, looking backwards from today, would you do it all again? If I could roll it back to you, just like lovers always do. I'm stoned in love, but not with you.

23. First floor window opened up, as you tiptoe on the back porch, to meet the new girl on the corner, make your big plans for the summer.

24. Did you ever hear this one, about the one that got away? She snuck right out the back door, it was on the news today.

25. And I can take her dancing just to give the girl a chance, and I was never that good at being nice when I should. I guess that she'll forgive me right before she tries to kill me.

26. This chaos, this calamity, this garden once was perfect. Give your immortality to me, I'll set you up against the stars.

27. Cinderella's on her bedroom floor, she's got a crush on the guy at the liquor store, 'cause Mr. Charming don't come home anymore and she forgets why she came here.

28. If there's one thing I can say, is she takes all my breath away. She doesn't know my name, she doesn't know her name.

29. If you wanted to you could just settle down, but you'd rather just waste away. Button up, shut up, and turn your life around. What would it take to get this started?

30. Every Monday I get this pain, every Wednesday it hits my brain, every Friday I die, 'cause every day I still think of you.

31. And I could call you babydoll all the time, and you'd whisper in my ears, you'd say "I miss you boy," so sing it over again, and over again, and over again.

32. So give up, and give in, and start over again, but be honest, cause you're all I need. It's pathetic, why can't we get it straight?

33. You can have me, down my pale skin, you can beat me, I'll love you while I bruise. You can take me, drug my chapped lips, you can hurt me, I'll love you while I trip. But do you think of her, hands on my waist? And do you think of me when she screams your name?

34. Everything is dark, everybody's here, all I've gotta do is get the words right when the microphone is near.

35. Used to dream until I stopped writing fiction. Alright, well that's not true. Maybe it ended when I ended competition, because I'd always lose.

36. You're the finest thing that I've done, the hurricane I'll never outrun. I could wait around for the dust to still, but I don't believe that it ever will.

37. You don't do it on purpose but you make me shake. Gonna count the hours til you wake, with your baby's breath, breathe symphonies, come on sweet catastrophe.

38. I've got another confession to make, I'm no fool.

39. Cursed by my imagination, teeming with echoes of situations, I do not feel well, pressed beneath this spell. Polishing my social skills, with one more drink and two more pills. I do not feel good, I thought by now I would.

40. You gave me the best mix tape I have, and even all the bad songs ain't so bad, I just wish there was so much more than that about me and you.

41. Crack open a bottle of red, let's toast to this event. Offer up your hand, my one night, two month, three year stand.

42. Well, I was hoping that you had an eyelash in your hair, so fed up of the same old man.

43. I'm awake and I've been losing sleep. I've been fighting all of my demons, I've been getting weak. 'Cause I've been trying, trying, trying to be anything other than me.

44. You should get your story straight before I start to doubt it. 'Cause if you've worn your lipstick off, I want to hear about it.

45. A red rose fell upon the soft snow, prayers were whispered so slow from our mouths. Our breath rose in the cold, like a hundred souls escaping.

46. Saturday, what a day, what a silly little day. Time to kill, take a pill, as I sit and contemplate.

47. All of these guards stand tall and defensive, putting up walls around what once was innocent. They won't let me in but I'm stronger than that, 'cause you stole my eyes and I've never looked back.

48. Just one touch, that's enough, and it's like pushing comes to shove. I think you like this way too much, I think you're way fucked up.

49. Subjects are thrown around the room looking for the ones that got away. A feeling of soft anticipation of a confrontation I won't make.

50. Guess what I'm done writing your book. The ending got twisted around, but for all of the hell that it took.
